Nikosonoの写真と遊牧民のキリムー自然の色をテーマにした展覧会

今回の展覧会では、サミット有限会社　キリム・ギャッベ さんのご協力を得て展示構成します。

今回の展覧会テーマ《AUSTRALIAN BIOTOPE – Colours from Nature – 》では、Nikosono が、オーストラリアでアプローチしてきたユニークなスタイルの世界を、イランの遊牧民達の身近な植物や羊毛で染織し、長年使い続けてきたキリムと対比してお見せします。それらは、全く異なる人々、場所、時代に産み出されたものですが、双方には、地球の多様な表情と過酷な環境下での人間の営みを語る、色彩豊かな物語りが反映されています。

// In this exhibition, Nikosono’s unique approach to photography will be presented as part of a “Colours from Nature” theme along with a display of Kilim which have been weaved and used by nomads people for a long time in Iran. They appeared in different areas and periods, but still, they reflect a colourful common background story: An expression of Mother Earth and human’s life under severe environments.

NikosonoのAustralian BiotopeとKilimが表現する色を深く見入る事によって、変わりゆく地球環境に眼差しを向ける機会を設けることができたら、それがこの展覧会の目指すところです。//The exhibition is thus structured to allow the visitors to fully appreciate the current environmental changes and to feel as well how deeply we all interrelates with this nature.
